I'm Emily, a small town girl from South Carolina, a daughter of a King, a wife to my dreamboat, a mama to 3 littles, a reading interventionist to lots of children, a Sunday school teacher, and so on. My life is super busy and gets hectic, like every day. I'm learning to live -simply- loved by the Father while striving to be more like Him daily.

Southern Cup of Joy is a blog to share my journey in my walk with the Father, while also sharing my experiences with motherhood, teaching, and other life related things. It's a little conglomeration of everything that I love and I'm happy to share it with you.

Why Southern Cup of Joy?
I'll answer it as simply as possible. I love all things southern. I'm a coffee fanatic and the keeper of the mugs. And joy... I'm learning to drink more of it because Father graciously pours it out for us daily.
